"Finding quiet" describes a process, an internal journey of listening for the absence of sound.  This describes both the outcome and the process of working with and for horses.  I believe that an individual, human or horse, should be aligned and coordinated between major parts which make up the whole:  body, mind and spirit.  As humans, we tend to over-value, and therefore emphasize the power of the mind.  And, this can limit the space we give for listening to the body and spirit.

Although horses don't have the same neuroses as humans, we can tend to project our lifestyle, schedules and work ethic on them. Massage can provide time and space -- and quiet -- to allow your horse to tune into her body.  It is through this process that I can help her reconnect with her native intelligence and innate grace.
